GovHK is the one-stop portal of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government with the main content provided by participating Government departments and bureaus, featuring those most sought-after public information and services to make them easier to access and use by members of the public. Ever since the launch of the portal, the DPO, in collaboration with government departments and bureaus, has been striving to better the services in various facets of the portal, such as introducing more online services and enriching the content to accommodate different needs of users, and also enhancing the user interface and layout design for more pleasant navigation.

Launched in December 2020, “iAM Smart” Platform provides one-stop personalised digital services platform, which enables users to log in and use online services by their personal mobile phone in a smart and convenient way. All Hong Kong Identity Card holders aged 11 or above are eligible to register for “iAM Smart”. The numbers of services accessible through “iAM Smart” have been rising continuously. Popular online services of “iAM Smart” include SmartPLAY, eHealth, eTAX, Contactless e-Channel, HKeToll, renewal of vehicle licences, online application for International Driving Permit, online services of power and gas companies, etc.

The Government Backbone Network (GNET) is a government-wide network infrastructure that provides stable, reliable and high resilience broadband network connections to government bureaux, departments, as well as common services.

Central Internet Services enables government bureaux and departments as well as government Internet infrastructure services to gain access to the Internet for information dissemination, communication and business transaction with the public.

The Government Communication Network (GCN) is a common service for the exchange of electronic mails among the Government bureaux and departments (B/Ds). 

The Government Cloud Infrastructure Services (GCIS) is the new generation government cloud services, launched in September 2020 to replace the Government Cloud (GovCloud), the Central Computer Centre Virtualised Infrastructure (CCCVI) and the e-Government Infrastructure Services (EGIS). Leveraging on modern cloud technologies, GCIS provides a secure, reliable and scalable IT infrastructure equipped with agile application development tools, for facilitating bureaux and departments (B/Ds) in agile development and delivery of digital government services. Four key types of services, namely Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Database as a Service (DBaaS) and Container as a Service (CaaS) are provided.

The CCC operates round-the-clock throughout the year. It mainly provides data centre hosting (operation, management and maintenance) services for the Government's central IT infrastructure and systems. It also provides disaster recovery (DR) facilities for departmental mission critical systems. The CCC operates a command centre that monitors the government-wide data networks and critical central IT systems. It also operates a helpdesk that provides enquiry and incident support services to its clients.
