Enhancing Accessibility and User-friendliness of Digital Government Services

The Digital Policy Office works together with bureaux/departments (B/Ds) in improving government services through the “Be the Smart Regulator” and “Streamlining of Government Services” Programmes.

With the B/Ds reaching the Policy Addess (PA) targets on full digitalisation of government services, our upcoming target will be moving towards enhancing accessibility and user-friendliness of digital government services.

Launched in 2007, the “Be the Smart Regulator” Programme aims to improve the efficiency, transparency and business-friendliness of licensing regime, with a view to relieving the compliance costs and administrative burdens of business sectors.
